摘要
鲁迅与托尔斯泰均系伟大的人道主义者,都是农民的代言人。托尔斯泰一方面代表农民向专制制度和农奴制进行了激越的控诉,另一方面又宣扬忍耐、宽恕与博爱。鲁迅则不独为农民的不幸命运发出痛苦的呐喊,并且冷峻地批评了他们的愚昧、麻木与落后,寄希望于农民的觉醒与反抗。两人写农民的视角亦不同:托尔斯泰是单层视角——俯角,从上层阶级的哀悯眼光俯瞰农民;鲁迅则是双层视角——既是俯角,以启蒙者的哀怒眼光审视农民,同时又是平角,完全深入到农民的精神世界,是平等的关照与感同身受。
Lu Xun and Tolstoy were both great humanitarians and farmer spokespersons. Tolstoy, on one hand, made high-pitched accusation to tyranny and serfdom on behalf of farmers; on the other hand, he publicized patience, tolerance and charity. Lu Xun, however, not only yelled bitterly for the farmers' misfortunate but also criticized sternly their ignorant, insensitivity and backward, and placed his hopes on their awakening and revolt. This paper makes a comparative study in them from their different angles of writing about the farmers.
