摘要
本文扼要地叙述了半个多世纪以来地球形状学发展．由于近代空间技术的飞速发展，对于本项课题的要求越来越迫切，因而大大地推动了它的不断向前发展；同时也由于近代的计算工具和相应的计算技术的进步，以及地面上和空间的有关数据的大量积累，更使这项研究获得划时代的进步──从过去的严格理论研究进入了近代的数值逼近途径．我国在这项课题中有过不少研究，特别是近十几年来，研究工作发展很快，本文是这方面发展的概述．
The development of modern theory of the earth's shape in this half centuary was briefly recounted in this paper.Because of rapid development of modern space technology,the imperative requirement of the study On this Subject has been propelling it for ward continuiously.Forthermore,the improvements of modern computational sciences and technology and the great data accumulation of ground and space made the study on this subject has gained great developments──from strict theoretical research in past to modern numerical approching methods.The research on this subject has been done very much in China,especially last decade or more,the research has gained greatly rapid developments.We will demonstrate the development in this paper.
