摘要
中国水资源总量虽较丰富,但人均水资源相对贫乏;南方水多,北方水少,空间分布很不平衡;水资源年内或年际变化大。北方地区即使在考虑加大节水力度和挖掘当地水资源的前提下仍难以支撑国民经济的可持续发展。借助于先进的工程技术手段进行南水北调是优化配置中国水资源的一项宏伟工程。从宏观上分析了中国北方地区和长江流域的水资源情况,介绍了南水北调东、中、西线工程总体情况以及对主要技术问题研究和论证的情况。
China is rather abundant in total water resources volume, but poor in per-capita resources volume. There is much water in south China, and less water in north China. The spatial distribution of water resources is uneven and the variation of water resources volume among years and in a year is great. The water resources in north China are still hard to support the sustainable development of the national economy there even if saving water and extracting underground water are extensively conducted. The South-to-North Water Transfer is a magnificent project to optimize allocating China’s water resources by means of advanced engineering technologies. This paper briefly analyzes the situations of water resources in China’s north areas and Yangtze river basin, and presents the general conditions of the east, middle and west route projects of the South-to-North Water Transfer and the research and demonstration work on main technical problems related to the water transfer.
