The ZiLOG ZHX1010 SIR transceiver is designed to support the SIR(Serial Infrared) Infrared Data Association (IrDA) data standard(2.4～115.2kbps,1meter minimum). The wide DC supply voltage range from 2.4V to 5.5V makes the ZHX1010 a versatile device for interface with varions CPU.The feature,structure and usage are introduced,the interface between AT89C51 and ZHX1010 is given.
