摘要
在华北陆台北缘“发现”分布达二千公里早寒武世小亮化石带并建立了“清河镇动物群”的报道引起了地质学家们的普遍关注。随着研究工作的进一步展开，相继又在太古代、元古代和古生代的高级变质岩石、糜棱岩、甚至火成岩岩石中发现了该动物群的“化石”。对上述“化石”及其与岩石标本的关系等多方面的综合研究结果证明，这些物体根本就不是化石，而是在用酸处理岩石样品时所形成的化学反应生成物。依据此类假化石进行地层时代划分及填图将会带来极大的混乱．
t is a matter of great concern to learn about the report that the Early Cambrian small shelly fossils extend for around two thousand kilometres along the northern margin of North China Platform, and the erection of the so￣called 'Qinghezhen Fauna'. However, recent studies show 'fossils' of the 'Qinghezhen Fauna' were found within high-grade metamorphic rocks, supermylonitized rocks and even igneous rocks of Archaean, Proterozoic and Late Palaeozoic. The writer has carried out a synthetical study on these 'fossils' by observing every feature concerned with the relationship between 'fossils' and the parent rock, and so on. The result shows that the bodies are not true fossils, but chemical precipitations formed during the acid treatment of the rock samples. Great confusions have been caused to geological mapping by using these 'fossils' as criteria for age determination of strata.
