摘要
图书馆是人类文明的宝库,人类数千年的文明史通过各类载体的历史文献和各类实物的历史遗存世世代代地继承下来,还将不断的延续下去。当我们跨入21世纪的时候,图书馆在人类文明的发展中起到越来越重要的作用。文章比较了中西方图书馆在发展,管理体制、藏书、服务等诸多方面存在的差异,指出了国内图书馆界应该借鉴的地方。
As we know,library is the treasure of our human civilization. Human civilization history has been passed down by different kinds of historical documents and real things,which,of course,will be continually passed down. With the 21st century coming,library is playing more and more important role in the development of human civilization.Comparing with libraries in the west countries,ours is different from theirs in many aspects,such as the development, the management mechanism, collecting books and service.The paper points out what the libraries in our country should use for reference.
