摘要
我国是杜鹃花资源的重要分布中心,世界杜鹃花育种因中国杜鹃的发现而发展。大树杜鹃掀起了第一次育种高潮,云锦杜鹃、腺柱杜鹃、圆叶杜鹃是19世纪后期和20世纪杜鹃花育种的著名亲本。
Most Rhododendron are originated in China and finding Chinese Rhododendron develops the world Rhododendron breeding.The discovery of R.arboreum lead to the first climax of Rhododendron breeding. R. fortunnei and R. griffithianum and R.williamsianuni are very famous Rhododendron breeding parents in late 19th and 20th century. While there are nearly no records of Chinese breeders in the world Rhododendron breeding history.Few Rhododendron varieties are used in Chinese garden and urban Greenland.
