摘要
通识教育是本科教育的基础或保障,在本科教育中,加强通识教育是21世纪国际高等教育改革和发展的主要趋势之一。处于美国高等教育中间层次,以本科教育为主,授予学士学位的文理学院强调通识教育,致力于学生宽厚基础、全面发展以及社会适应性等素质的培养,在大众化和多样化的美国高等教育体系中体现了独有的教学质量特征,值得我们借鉴或参考。
Know-all education is the basis or guarantee of undergraduate education and strengthening it is one of the main trends for international societies to reform and develop college education in undergraduate education. The art-science college on the middle level in the US’s college system, with undergraduate education as the main thing and granting bachelor degrees concentrates efforts on fostering the qualities of undergraduates such as wide-and–thick basis, all-round development and social adaptability, having showed its unique characteristics of education qualities in the US’s education system for all and of multi-elements. This deserves our use for reference.
