An automatic code generation algorithm for three axes NC rough machining of scattered data is introduced.The algorithm uses scattered data as input data.A mesh surface is constructed first.Then,after a series of complex computation from the algorithm,the NC code for rough machining the surface is generated.The derivation of the algorithm is expounded,and the implementation detail of the algorithm is also specified.This algorithm is proved to be practical.
