摘要
JPEG2000是国际标准化组织推出的新一代静态图像压缩国际标准,对这一新标准的来龙去脉进行较为详细的论述,重点分析了它的基本原理和理论基础,并在与旧标准充分比较的基础上,讨论了它的特点和发展前景.
The JPEG2000 is a new coding standard of static image which is introduced by ISO. The cause and effect of the new standard is discussed extensively in this paper and the emphasis is laid on it's fundamental principle. and Theoretical basis with the old standard, the characteristics and perspective of JPEG2000 are discussed as well.
