摘要
受众,是传播研究中最基础的概念之一。首先对受众的历史渊源、现代受众的产生进行了追溯,进而分析了受众学说建立的社会背景和理论前提,认为在促进传播研究的"受众"研究诞生的诸因素中,有两个因素是重要的:一是统计学方法的应用;另一是"大众社会"理论的兴起。在受众学说的产生过程中,拉扎斯菲尔德作出了重要贡献。
It is well recognized that audience is one of the most fundamental concepts in the communication studies. This research firstly reviews the evolvement of the concept of audience and the emergence of modern audience. Then a comprehensive analysis of the social background and theoretical pre-condition of the establishment of the audience theory is given. Among the various factors which facilitate the emergence of the audience, two key factors should be draw on, that is, the application of statistic method and the accelerated development of the Mass Society theory. Finally this research intends to provide an elaborate analysis of Lazarsfeld's outstanding contribution to the establishment of the audience theory.
