摘要
针对学术期刊社收取版面费这一热点问题,在一定的假设条件下,用简化的经济学模型,分析投稿人发表文章和学术期刊社采用稿件的决策过程,双方搏弈的关键在于各自的成本-收益比较。指出期刊社收取版面费是市场经济条件下无奈的选择,呼吁对此产生的负面作用给予高度的关注。
Focusing on the hot issue that most academic journals seek a page fee, this article uses some simplified economic models to illustrate how both the contributors and the journals make their decisions with some hypotheses. The key to the decision-making of the two competitors lies in their comparison of the costs and the profits. The article also discusses the various side effects in our society which results from the seeking of a page fee and points out that more attention should be paid to those, although at present the journals have little choice but to ask for a page fee from the contributors under the condition of the market economy.
