In this paper,the thermodynamic theory of nucleation in a cone hole isanalysed.On the basis of the calculation of the thermodynamic theory, a crackleinoculation mechanism of cast iron is Put forward. This inoculation mechanismcan be used to explain the various phenomona of many experiments.
