摘要
如果试图问什么是环境主义,可能会有许多不同的回答。本文通过对环境主义的考察,提出正义在概念上和历史上都是环境主义的核心,应当用环境正义的原则处理人与自然的关系。
Try asking people what environmentalism is and you will get very different answers.Asking this question internationally produces an even wider array of answers.In this essay I am not going to try to order in all respects the heterogeneous domain of environmentalism.A focus on justice,I claim,can reconcile these perspectives across a broad range of issues.Justice gives environmentalism a heart in the sense of motivating people to make change,and taming the movement′s tendency towards misanthropy and pessimism.
