An accurate solution for the propagation constant and the characteristicimpedance of a microstrio line covered with a dielectric layer is obtained by applying themethod of moments in the odd and even Fourier transform domain. Numerical results for theeffective dielectic constant and the characteristic impedance are presented and some resultsare compared with those obtained by another method, excellent agreement has been obtained.
