摘要
本文从我国古代风水术角度，对我国古代运用方城形制的原因作了初步探讨．文章探讨了风水术有关城市平面形制的吉凶观念，同时说明风水术曾出色地指导并形成了我国古代城市的规划建设模式．
This paper preliminarily examines the reasons that ancient Chinese people wielded the square towns from ancient Chinese geomancy. It approaches the sense of good or ill luck about the town's plane form and shows that the seomancy splendidly guilded and formed the ancient Chinese model of city planning and construction.
