NUMERICAL INVESTIGATION ON FUEL DROPLET VAPORIZATION IN A HIGHPRESSURE UNSTABLE ENVIRONMENT

摘要 对燃料液滴在高压不稳定环境中的蒸发进行了研究,着重讨论了气相介质压力振荡对液滴蒸发特性的影响,计算了C12H26液滴在N2介质中蒸发时的蒸发速率、滴温和无因次滴径随时间的变化。结果表明:(1)蒸发速率、滴温发生相同频率的振荡,相位滞后分别为。和。/2;(2)压力振荡使蒸发速率平均值增大,液滴生存时间减少;(3)在不定常加热阶段压力振荡影响很小。 The evaporation of single spherical fuel droplet in a high-pressure unstable subscritical environment has been investigated numerically, emphasizing the effects of oscillating ambient gas pressure on the droplet vaporization characteristics. The calculation of evaporation rate, droplet temperature and nondimensional radius histories of single C12H26, liquid droplet vaporzing in N2 atmosphere was made. The results showed that oscillation of evaporation rate and droplet temperature histories are found, with the same frequences and phase differences ofπ,π/2respectivelly by comparison with those of oscillating ambient pressure; and that average evaporation rate increases and droplet lifetime decreases with both ambient pressure oscillating frequence and amplitude increasing. However, the effects of ambient pressure oscillation on droplet heat-up may be neglected.
