研究图书馆事业的方针,既是图书馆事业建设的需要,也是图书馆学基础理论研究的需要。能否科学地对这一课题进行深入研究,根据时代要求和图书馆事业的实际情况提出正确的方针,对于图书馆学基础理论来说,是衡量理论水平和理论成熟程度的一个方面,也是理论联系实际的一个方面。
Study of the guiding principles of libraries is an important topic for the research of the basictheory of library science,and also the need for the construction of libraries. Whether the principles can be correctly set up according to the demands of the new era and the concrete conditions of libraries will be taken as a measure of weighing the level of theory-research of the library science and its connection with practice.
