摘要
详细论述了中国南方油气勘探的两大领域的石油地质特征、生油条件及圈闭条件，即中一新生代陆相碎屑岩油气勘探领域和中－古生代海相碳酸盐岩油气勘探领域。分析了南方油气勘探领域的勘探现状和勘探的目的层及有利的勘探地区，并提出了加快南方油气勘探的一些对策。
