摘要
为检测鸡霍乱G190E40疫苗,以该苗的不同剂量接种小鼠,测出其最小免疫量和安全性。并以同法对鸡进行平行试验。之后分别以C48—1强毒的最小致死量攻击。比较此法对两种动物的差异。试验结果表明,用小鼠替代鸡检测鸡霍乱苗,即安全,又可降低检测成本,因此本法具有实际应用价值。
In testing a fowl cholera live vaccine based on strain G190E40, different doses of the vaccine were inoculated into groups of mice, for determining the satety and the minimal protective dose (MPD) of the vaccine. The mouse test was in parallel with the chicken test. Following challenge with MLD (4cf u/mouse) of virulent Partensella multocida strain C48-1, protection against the challenge in both animal species were compared. Results showed that testing of the fowl cholera live vaccine mice in place of chickens is reliable and cost reducible. It is a method of practical value.
