摘要
本文通过对海南岛棕榈科植物资源的调查研究，认为全岛共有棕榈科植物３２属６８种，其中天然分布的有１１属３２种，引种的有２１属３６种。文中介绍了海南岛棕榈科植物的用途与天然分布，描述其生态特征，对如何开发利用与保护提出了具体的措施和途径。
rom their practices of production and teaching since the 1960s, the authors made a systematic research on the palmaceae plants in Hainan Island in this peper. According to the investiga-tion, there are 68 species of 32 genera of palmaceae in Hainan Island, of which 32 species of 11 genera are naturally distributed, and 36 species of 21 genera are introduced from other areas.The natural distribution and ecological characteristics of palmaceae plant resources in Hainan Is-land are described in detail. The measurements and ways for developing and protecting palmaceae resources are put forward.
