Four species, including o ne variety of C aristas uns D istant (Achilidae ), were formerlyrecorded in the world. The present paper deals with seven species from China, amongwhich six species are as new to science, namely C. fopingensis, C. ziyangensis, C.sammetia cans, C. a sym m ethics, C. nigTipectus and C. jilinen sts, and the remaining o ne is ak.flown species, namely C. ulysses. A diagnostic key to species is provided. All the typespecimens are kept in the Entomological M useum of the N orthwestern Agricultural University.
