The impact fracture behavior of 8090 Al-Li alloy in different aging conditions was investigated and analysed combining with microstructure of the alloy by SEM and TEM The results show that the chang of mechanical properties with aging time is attributed to the δ’<Al_3Li) phase particle size :and the precipitation of equilirium phase δ(AlLi)along grain boundaries,and the formation of PFZ,The failure mode is transgranular and intergraular fracture,the former occurs in the as-quenched and underaged conditions,the later occurs in the peakaged and overaged conditions.
