The phase compenents、hardness profile and wear resistance of nitriding layer in 30Cr2MoV steel were studied .The ptatau in hardness-depth curves of 30Cr2MoV is found.The influence of original structure on the wear resistance of 30Cr2MoV steel is less than that of 38CrMoAl.The single Y'-phase in nitriding layer of 30Cr2MoV steels is benefitial to improve wear resistance.
