The Jiyun natural zeolite deposit in Zhejiang Province, has large reserves and is easy to be mined. The zeolite is mainly composed of mordenite and clinoptilolite which has water-holding capacity(>100%), contains various usable mineral elements such as water-soluble Si(500ppm), slowly efficient Potassium(200-400ppm). The Zeolite can also distribute and accumulate the water and aliment properly in the soil. In the past, the zeolite was used to correct acidic soil and saline-alkali soil by directly spreading into cropland. In doing so, the N efficiency in soil was improved and crops became stronger. But only when spreading more than 10t/ha zeolite, the effect was evident. This is a kind of zleoite waste. Therefore, the paper suggest to use zeolite as binder of fertilizer, carrier of agricultural pesticide and biological agent and mineral feed.
