The Effects of Metal Base and Alloy Content on Friction and Wear Behaviours of Nickel Based Self-Lubricating Composites

摘要 用粉末冶金热压法制备了含MoS2的镍基自润滑复合材料。研究了金属基体及其中镍铬合金的含量对复合材料的硬度、摩擦系数和磨损率的影响。试验结果表明,40%金属基体比20%金属基体复合材料的摩擦磨损性能有明显的提高;在金属基体中增加镍铬合金的含量可以使40%金属基体复合材料具有更低的摩擦系数和磨损率。借助扫描电镜及能谱仪分析了往复摩擦表面润滑膜的形貌及成分,对金属基体、合金含量对复合材料摩擦学性能影响的机理进行了探讨。 The nickel based self-lubricating composite materials containing molybdenum disulfide (MoS2 ) were developed by means of hot-pressing technology of powder metallurgy. The effects of metal base content and NiCr alloy addition on hardness, friction coefficient and wear rate of the composites were studied. The results showed that the composites with 40 wt% metal base had remarkably improved friction and wear behaviour in comparison to those with 20 wt% metal base,and their friction coefficient and wear rate could be further reduced by increasing the addition of NiCr alloy to metal base. For detailed mechanism exploration,the morphology and composition of lubricating films formed on the reciprocating friction surfaces were analyzed through SCanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Energy Dispersion Analysis of X-Ray (EDAX).
