摘要
本文阐述了江西省红土资源的下述地质学特征：（１）影响红土分布的基本因素，包括气候、新构造运动、母岩和地形；（２）红土的分类，主要根据红土的属性、地形和母岩，进行综合划分；（３）红土的时代及地层问题，着重确立了划分残积相红土地层的依据和方案。
This paper elucidates the following geological features of red earth resource inJiangxi China:(1)The basic factors of influencing red earth distribution which consist of climate,neotectonic movement,topography and mother rock;(2)Classificatlon of red earch,accordingto the attribute,topography and mother rock,divide red earth type comprehensively; (3)On Redearth time and strata,form the basis and the plan of dividing eluvial facies red earth strata em-phatically.
