芦苇豹蠹蛾是获和芦的主要害虫，本文记述其卵、幼虫、蛹和成虫的详细形态特征，可为各虫态的正确鉴定提供参考。
Phragmataecia castaneae(Hubner is the dominant speies of stem borer in reed in Hunan province,Observations of its morphological characters were made in laborato-rv. This paper describeds in details, the morphological characters of eggs,larva,pupa and adult of this species。
