摘要
崇明岛三面环江,一面临海,其周围水域属于长江入海口的江海混合水域,该水域南、北支特殊的地理位置、地质地貌,形成了水文、化学要素的特征性分布.根据1990～1991年对该区域所做的海岛调查结果,经分析表明崇明岛周围水域环境状况不容乐观,北支受污染较重,南支的东、西部也有小块水区受到污染.
The Chongming Island is located in the Yangtse Estuary and surrounded by river on three side and sea on the east side. The distributional patterns of hydrographic and chemical parameters of the North Channel and South Channel by the Island are quite different from each other, which is controlled by the particular geographical and geomorphological features of each channel. The analyses of 1990~1991 survey data indicats that there was heavy pollution in the North Channel and at the two ends of the South Channel.
