摘要
现今大洋中分布有许多水下陆块，其形成演化经历了大陆破裂、洋脊跃迁及同扩张期沉降等过程。引发大洋水下陆块形成的地球动力学背景，推测与白垩纪中期的超幔柱活动有关。
Some continental submarine plateaus such as the Lord Howe, Falkland, Seychelles,Rockall and Jan Mayen Plateaus,are embeded in the oceanic floors, The continental na- ture of the plateaus has been confirmed by DSDP and ODP drillings,geophysical and is- land-geological data,This paper suggests that the evolutional process of the plateaus first saw break-up of continents and splitting from continental margins and then oceanic ridge jumping and sinking,The geodynamic background responsible for the origin of the plateaus is related to“superplume”episode in Middle Cretaceous according to Larson's model(1991)。
