In this paper, the inlet and outlet flow field of a diagonal fan impeller with twist plate blade and outlet guide volute are measured, at three operating conditoins respectively, using a five hole probe. How the different volute outlet width affects the impeller outlet flow field is also investigated. The measurement results are useful for a better understanding of the internal flow characteristies of this kind of diagonal fan.
