摘要
表面扩散渗铝形成的β-NiAl涂层表面注入Mg+1×1017/cm2后,在1000℃空气中恒温氧化25h,涂层的氧化增重速率有所增加,这是由于注Mg的β—NiAl涂层表面形成了Al2O3氧化物“瘤”,长时间氧化后氧化物“瘤”周围及“瘤”本身发生开裂,引起涂层内氧化。
Ion implantation of 1×1017 Mg+/cm2 increased the oxidation rate of β-NiAl coating,which was made by diffusion aluminizing method on cast nickel base superalloy K438 in air at 1000℃. SEM examination revealed that 'tumour-like' A12O3 oxides grown on the surface of Mg implanted β-NiAl coating.EPMA analysis also showed that there existed Ni rich oxides around the above-mentioned 'tumor-like' Al2O3 oxides. As a result of oxide scale cracking occurred at the interface Ni-rich oxides/Al2O3 'tumor' or on the oxide 'tumor' itself due to longer time oxidation,deep internal oxidation occurred along the crack into the coating. Hence,Mg ion implantation reduced the high temperature oxidation resistance of β-NiAl coating.
