本文讨论了矢量量化应用于实际数据压缩系统中的几个关键技术，并介绍在语音信箱中应用矢量量化技术时，如何设计码书与快速搜索算法。
This paper discusses several key techniques of vector quantization used in data compressing sys-tem,and suggests the design of codebook and fast search algorithm when vector quantization used in voicemail system.
