Many practical materials revealed that the so-called Yongning, Xihe and Wuxingshan Groups of the Dalian-Jinzhou area are completely different from those of the Fuzhou area in their fossil centent, metamorphism, tectonic pattern and isotopic ages. Stratigraphically they are not equivalent and the Changlingzi Formation is not an index horizon.The 'Ganjingzi Formation' (i.e. Jinjia Formation) at the Wuxingshan of the Jinzhou district is a series of dolomites(not dolomitic limestones) of lagoon factes,containing stromatolites Baicalia and Juyushania. And the Yingchengzi and Shisanlitai Formations, lithologically, are a series of limestones of shallow sea facies,bearing stromatolites Baicalia cf. baicalica, Conophyton ocularoides, Anabaria, Chihsienella and Kussiella. This proved that the 'Ganjingzi Formation'. (i.e. Jinjia Formation) of Wuxingshan does not include the Yingchengzi Formation of the Jinxian Group and Shisanlitai Formation. There is no evidence to prove that the Majiatun Formation is disconformably covered by the Dalinzi Formation in the Zhaojiakanzi section of Fuzhouwan. The contact relation between them is conformble without any hiatus of upper Jinxian Group in the section. In the east of Henan Village of Fuzhouwan, we saw that the Jinjia Formation (i.e. so-called 'Ganjingzi Formation')conformably overlies the Dalinzi Formation-Yingchengzi Formation, and the lower part of the Dingjiagou Formation, i.e. so-called 'Nanguanling Formation', to be the middle-upper parts of the Dingjiagou Formation. Hence there are no Yingchengzi, Shisanlitai and Majiatun Formation of the Jinxian Group in the Zhaojiakanzi section.If we put the present fossils and isotopic ages in the long-term used Late Precambrian stratigraphic sequence of Southern Liaoning, the basic contradictions of them with the sequence appeared in the overlapped part of the stratigraphic column.The overlapping of the column made some mistakes in the sequence.
