The article is devoted to introducing the newly imPOrted large air separation installation in which the air purification using molecular sieve (with pressured nitrogen expansion) and liquid oxygen pump are to be adopted. It gives information on its capacity, main equipment and principles of air purification and makes companion between pressured nitrogen expansion and pressured air expansion and between process nowsheets with liquid oxygen pump or oxygen compressor.
