摘要
地球化学省是一种范围较大的原生异常，面积可达几乎至几万ｋｍ￣２。地球化学省可以看作是地壳的一个块段，在该块段内元素的含量和地壳元大的平均值有显著不同，它反映了地壳原始分异及演化过程中所造成的化学组分的巨大差异。本文根据国内外大量实例，概述了地球化学省的概念、特征，及其与成矿省的关系、圈定方法和研究意义。
Geochemical province with the arae extent from thousands to tenthousands square kilometres is a large scaleprimary anomaly. It is defined as a relativelarge segment of the earth crust in which the chcmical composition is significantlydifterent from the average.So the great differcnce of chemical compositions had been formed during the primarydifferentiation and evolution of the earth crust.The concept,features and out liningmethod of geochemical province and its close relationship with metallogenic province havebeen summarized in the basis of a let of examples from China and other country.
