本文简要介绍了在飞机和其它航空器上采用大型壁板和型材的优点，研究了两种制造铝和铝－锂合金大型壁板和型材的挤压方法：圆形或扁形锭料的挤压和空心锭料的挤压。
his paper introduces briefly about the substantial advantages of use of large-size extruded panels andshape materials in the structure of aeroplanes and other air vehicles and studies two types of the extrusionprocesses for manufacture of large-size panels and shape materials from Al and Al-Li alloys i.e.extrusionof solid round or flat ingot and extrusion of hollow ingot.
