The crystal structure of binuclear Eu(Ⅲ)complex with 0-methylbenzoic acid and 1,10-phenanthroline, Eu2(o-MBA)6(PHEN)2,was determined by X-ray analysis. The crystal crystallizes in triclinic space group P1 with a=l.435 46 (5) nm,b= 1.740 47 (8) nm,c=1.312 30(6)nm,a=96.31 (5)°,β =106.99 (4)°,γ= 83.10(3)°,V=3.013 (2)nm3,Z=2,F(000)=1 480,ρ= 1.58 g.cm-3,v=20.70 cm-1,T=295 K.The final R = 0.068 .
