摘要
基于特征建模的ＣＡＤ／ＣＡＭ集成技术的研究已经成为ＣＡＤ发展的一个重要方向，也是实现ＣＩＭＳ必须要解决的关键技术之一．根据在Ｉ－ＤＥＡＳ基础上对特征建模技术的研究，重点介绍了有关特征描述、特征定位及特征组合等方面的问题，并介绍了特征模型的管理方法及发展前景．
CAD/CAM integrated technology based on feature modelling has been a very important field in CAD.Introducing the study of feature modelling on I-DEAS, this paper focuses on the description of features, alignment of features, and composite features. Methods of features management and the prospect for feature modelling are finally described.
