摘要
对现代奥运会与古代奥运会竞技职业化的原因及后果等方面进行了研究，结果表明：产生于不同历史背景下的现代奥运会与古代奥运会的竞技职业化有诸多不同之处；二者在提高运动竞技水平等方面均产生了积极作用，但在某些方面又产生了不容忽视的消极影响；如何保持奥林匹克的崇高理想并努力控制职业化的副作用，是当今奥林匹克研究的重要课题。
The causes, outcome and other aspects of the professionalization of sports in the modern and the ancient Olympic Games were analysed.The results suggested that due to difference in historical backgrounds,the modern and the ancient Olympic Games differed in many aspects of professionalization of sports. Although professionalization had produced some positive effects in enhancing sports level for both the modern and the ancient Games, it also brought about substantial negative influence. How to keep the lofty Olympic ideal and how to control the side effect of professionalization has become an important topic of the modern Olympic movement.
