摘要
栖霞县位于胶东半岛中部,全县有23个乡镇,968个行政村,总土地面积2017.7km^2,是一个典型的砂石低山丘陵区。
The mineral resources in Qixia county of Shandong Province is very rich, but severe soil loss was caused in mining of minerals. At present, the area of man-caused soil loss is 12. 91km^2, although it constitutes only 1% of the total area of soil loss, the amount of soil eroded comprises 12. 4% of the total soil eroded. Solid wastes are disposed from 3992 production and construction projects, totalling 1442000 m^3, a-mong which 127000 m^3 are directly discharged into river course or reservoirs. The mining area amounts to 3239000 m^2. In recent years, a series of prevention measures have been taken and through experimental work of harnessing small watersheds in mining area, some experience of controlling soil loss in mining area has been gained.
