CHARACTERISTICS OF FORMATION OF THE SHOALY LAND SOIL IN CHONGMING AND SUGGESTION ON ITS DEVELOPMENT AND UTILIZATION

摘要 本文阐述崇明岛滩涂土壤的形成特点,为合理开发利用提供参考。崇明岛地处长江入海口。在江流海潮相互作用下,长江泥沙在这里大量沉积。长江北支江流日渐衰亡,滩涂淤涨迅速,土体含盐,但全盐量不高,以氯化物为主。矿物营养丰富。土壤有机质含量较高。质地较轻,粗粉砂、细砂含量高。通透爽水性好,土壤具有多宜性。不同地段因沉积环境条件不同,母质沉积表现出一定的地域性特征,且因水文条件不同,土壤盐渍化特征亦有异。随着自然植被覆盖与演替,反映出一定的生物累积与自然生草脱盐趋势。在开发利用中,应充分发挥滩涂资源优势,因地制宜,衣、林、牧、副渔等综合发展。 <Abstract >The article expounds the charcteristics of formation of the shoaly land soil in Chongming Island, in order to give reference to its reasonable deve- lopment and utilization. Chongming Island is Situated at the sea mouth of the Yangtze River. Under the interaction between the sea tide and the river flow, a 1arge quantity of sands and muds in the Yangtze River deposits here. The northern river branch declines and falls with each passing day. The shoaly land silts up rapidly. Though bulk soils contain salts, the total salt contents are not high. The bulk soils contain chlorides in the main. The mineral nutrition is rich. The content of organic matter is higher. The aeration and permea blity of soil are good. The soil texture is relatively light. The contents of coarse silt and fine sand are high. Owing to different deposit environment conditions, parent material deposit show certain regional characteristics. Moreover, because of the different hydr- ological conditions, the characteristics of soil salinization are also different with natural vegetation's covering and succession, there is certain trend of boilogical accumulation and saltleaching by natural grass cover. We should give full play to resources superiority of the shoaly land soil. We should suit measures to local conditions in order to develop and utilize farming, forestry, animal husbandry, side-line. occupations and fishery etc., comprehens- ively.
