摘要
本文分析了太阳射电望远镜的灵敏度与天线口径的关系,并指出当天线口径增大到一定数值后,其望远镜灵敏度的提高将趋近于一个极限值。此时再想通过增大天线口径来提高其灵敏度将收效甚微,反而使系统的成本急剧地提高。
The relation between the sensitivity and the antenna aperture of a radio telescope (especially for solar radio obsrevation) is analyzed in this paper. It is pointed that the sensitivity approaches a limit value as the antenna aperture is increased. It is not effective to improve the sensitivity of radio telescope only with further increasing the atenna aperture.
