The vacuum system of the wet end of a papermachine could be a centralized system or some individual systems for the vacuum points. Proper and correct selection of technical data in the design of the vacuum system provides an important and necessary prerequisite for the good performance of the wet end of papermachine. Some design data and mill examples are listed.
