摘要
赵孟頫曾经在“元四大家”中排名一直位居首位 ,但到了明末 ,董其昌对“元四大家”重新评估时 ,却将赵孟列在四家之外 ,单独进行评说 。
Zhao Mengfu had occupied the first place in “The Four Master Painters of Yuan Dynasty”, but his name was taken away and replaced with Ni Yunlin when Dong Qichang revalued the four master painters towards the end of Ming Dynasty. Zhao was given a separate evaluation. The main reason for this was due to his change of loyalty to the former Song Dynasty as well as his service as an official of Yuan Dynasty. Besides, his artistic idea and style was conspicuously different from that of the four master painters.
