Effects of fluid drag on space configuration of flexible pipes

摘要 深海采矿系统中的一个关键环节是连接中继舱和集矿机的软管。软管空间形态的非线性分析是一个复杂的问题。本文采用荷载增量法与牛顿 -拉夫逊相结合的方法研究了软管在稳定水流作用下位移的反应 ,利用非线性有限元理论与 Mori-son流体阻力计算公式分析了流体阻力对软管空间形态的影响。该计算模型可为软管输送性能的设计提供理论参考依据。 WT5”BZ]The flexible pipe which links the collector and the mid buffer plays an important role in deep sea mining and the nonlinear analysis of space configuration of the flexible pipe structure is especially complicated. In this paper, the nonlinear finite element method and Morison Fluid Drag Equation are used to analyse the influence of fluid drag on the space configuration of flexible pipes. For the solution, a combination of Newton Raphson nonlinear iteration, load step increment and updated fluid properties is adopted. The computing model can be used as the theoretic support for the design of flexible pipes with better transport ability.
