摘要
本文探讨了交通标志的实质并提出了交通标志设置的六条基本原则；研究并解决了我国高等级公路交通标志汉字等字符有关尺寸、文字数量以及合理设置等一系列亟待解决的问题。这些结合人类工效学与交通工程学的研究成果将有效地确保我国高等级公路快速、安全、畅通的目标。
