摘要
铸钢件生产中,为了扩大冒口对铸件的补缩距离,传统的且目前广泛使用的方法是在工艺设计中加金属补贴,一般的方法是从铸件的热节部位开始,逐渐地向冒口方向增加铸件的厚度。
This paper outlines advantages of insulating pads in the present situation and development tendency, and introduces the international and domestic research on insulating pads and exothermic pads. This paper also intro- duces the material composition designing methods and practically using examples about the insulating pads. The use of insulating pads substitute the metal pads is not only possible in theory but also in practice. Insulating pads have a series superiorties, including saving energy, reducing casting coat and lowering environmental pollution. This research sub- ject has a broad prospect in near future.
