In logging software development, we used to adopt Microsoft Company's general software development platform, for example, the Visual Basic and Visual C++, etc. In this article introduced is a new measurement software developing tool: LabWindows/CVI. Using this tool, we can develop powerful measurement software in short time. With oxygen activated logging software as example, we introduce the characters, usages, development procedures and powerful function of the LabWindows/CVI. This tool also provides a new method for logging software development technicians and it is especially useful for those hardware engineers who want to develop their own measurement software.
