摘要
儒家思想本身是一个多元化、多层次的内容复杂殊异的矛盾统一体,简单的肯定或否定都显得感情用事或狂妄无知。从现代民主政治、市场经济及其相应的伦理文化的角度看,儒学与现代民主政治、市场经济的本质要求是相抵触的,但它却可以成为现代伦理文化整合的基本材料。儒学的这种两重性,是我们具体分析其价值的基础和前提。
Confucianism is a pluralistic contradictory unity which has different and complex content. A simple affirmation or denial seems to be hasty, arrogant and ignorant. From the angle of modern democratic politics, the market economy and its ethical culture, Confucianism is contradictary with the essential demand of modern democratic politics and the market economy. But Confucianism can become the essential material of the whole modern ethical culture. The dual nature of Confucianism is the basis and premise of our analysis.
